Hello, we’re Shu and Rob.
Originally from the south west of England we’ve owned Le Pressoir Gites in France for 20 years and have tried to slowly and sympathetically renovate the old cider press buildings with love and attention to detail. We speak both French and English.

If you do want to venture out and explore you’ll find plenty to satisfy all tastes – wide open beaches, tranquil forest walks and great cycling lanes and if you need some sophistication, you’ll love the chic boutiques and coffee shops of nearby Bayeux, not to mention the world famous Bayeux Tapestry, Cathedral and WW2 Landing Beaches and Museums.
And if you really want to up your designer shopping game then the stunning and stylish Deauville is about an hour away. Many high-end brands have gorgeous boutiques in the pedestrian area between the beach and the polo field. It’s where, Coco Chanel opened her second boutique, after the 1st one in Paris – exactly 100 years ago.
Oh go on, you deserve a little treat, don’t you… Mais oui! You are on holiday afterall.
You can also shop ’til you drop in Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Ralph Lauren, Cartier, Sonia Rykiel and Dior.
